Advocate for a Texas That Serves Its People
I’m Bryan Pendleton, a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Houston, born and raised in Texas, shaped by hard work, and like many of you, deeply frustrated with the state of our political and economic climate. My background in engineering trained me to solve complex problems, think critically, and pursue solutions rooted in logic and evidence, skills I now apply to cut through political noise and uncover what truly serves the people of Texas.
For most of my life, I voted straight Republican. Not because I deeply understood the policies or agreed with every position, but because the party marketed itself as the protector of Christian values. It felt like the safest choice in a confusing, noisy political landscape.
But over time, something didn’t sit right.
The deeper I looked into who really pulled the strings in both parties, the clearer I saw the truth: powerful elites and corporations steer our democracy. They focus more on building capital than protecting people. Both Democrats and Republicans fall under this influence, but in my eyes, the Republican Party proved the most destructive to the principles I hold dear.
That realization launched my mission: to educate, equip, and empower Texans of all backgrounds — Republican, Democrat, or Independent — with the knowledge they need to make truly informed, values-driven decisions.
Why I Created BPI-TX.ORG
Politics shouldn’t be about party loyalty. It should be about people. Families. Communities. Our future.
I started BPI-TX.ORG to cut through the noise and give everyday Texans a resource that makes sense of the system, without corporate spin, media manipulation, or partisan games. This isn’t about telling you what to think. It’s about giving you the tools to think critically and vote confidently.
I believe in:
- Free and fair elections where every Texan’s vote counts.
- Transparency and limits in campaign financing to end corporate influence over our representatives and legislation.
- Public investment in education, healthcare, childcare, infrastructure, and science, so every community can thrive.
- Accountability for corporations and organizations to serve people and the planet, not just building captial and hoarding wealth.
I believe we can only fix our democracy if we work together. We must listen to one another, challenge what others have told us, and put people above party.
Our Next Steps
Right now, BPI-TX.ORG provides Texans with accessible, no-nonsense resources — like our Texas Voters Guide — to help you navigate elections and policies with clarity.
But this is just the beginning.
My long-term vision is to help reshape the future of Texas politics and yes, that may include running for office. But no matter where this journey leads, my mission remains the same:
To serve the people of Texas by equipping them with truth, transparency, and the power to lead change.
Whether you lean red, blue, or somewhere in between, you are welcome here.
Let’s build a Texas that works for all of us.
